OurPhilosophy
Immanuel Lutheran School exists as an integral part of Immanuel Lutheran Church to assist parents in their God-given task of training their children spiritually, mentally, and physically. Immanuel Lutheran School is a Christian day school, with the purpose of making disciples for Christ. It is one means by which the congregation seeks to fulfill its Christian mission to all the children with whom it has contact.

Immanuel is one of the oldest schools in Minnesota, dating back to 1864. The present building was constructed in 1940 and the gym was constructed in 1979.
We have five state-certified teachers who teach preschool through eighth grades.
Class sizes are small with a 1 to 15 teacher/student ratio. Public busing is provided for students in the vicinity of Courtland, Nicollet and New Ulm.
