Church Bulletin

From April 22nd, 2018

Prayer of the Day:     Jesus, You are the one way to God and eternal life. Help us to believe                             and winsomely proclaim this truth.  Amen.

Bible Verse of the Week:   “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name                                 under heaven given to men by which we may be saved.”  Acts 4:12

Prayer Concerns:

  • For a bold witness of our Living Savior Jesus.
  • For the family of Darlene (Voges) Olson buried Friday at Albion Lutheran.
  • For all of our youth.

Welcome to Worship:    Welcome to worship, where the Lord feeds us with his Word and shelters us in his love.  Visitors please sign our guest register and come again very soon.  Children, please help yourself to a Bible Busy Bag and a Children’s Worship Bulletin.

  1. 1. Here’s the deal. We live in a disposable age.  If something wears out, breaks down or is lost, we replace it.  But who or what can replace Jesus?  Who else can save us?  (Acts 4:1-12).    Let us listen to Speaker Emeritus Rev. Dr. Ken Klaus of The Lutheran Hour explain why we should, “Accept No Substitutes.”

Next week’s message is titled, “The Answer to Unhappiness.”

  1. We thank our Bible School students and teachers who share an Easter skit with us in our service today.
