Parent Teacher League (PTL)

What is Parent Teacher League (PTL)?

The Immanuel Lutheran School Parent Teacher League (PTL) is a group of parents and teachers who help to build a closer relationship between the families here at Immanuel by providing family events and opportunities to fellowship. We assist our classrooms by providing funds to purchase additional educational items that wouldn’t normally be possible, that’s where our fundraising comes in. If you’d like more information, have a question, comment, suggestion or would like to get involved, please contact President Pat Lease.

  • All parents of the students at Immanuel, Pre-school through eighth grade, are members of PTL. There are no fees associated with being involved in PTL.
  • It’s easy to get involved in PTL! Every parent is encouraged to add their special talents to the group. There are lots of way to get involved, such as joining us at the monthly meetings to help in planning our years’ activities, volunteering at one or more PTL events, and participating in the PTL fundraisers, just to name a few!
  • PTL meetings are held Wednesdays of every other month during the school year at 6:00 pm in the 7th and 8th grade classroom.
  • No worries if you are unable to make the meetings. Parents can still be involved by volunteering their time at one of our events and supporting our fundraisers.

PTL sponsored fundraising activities and special events include: the annual Pork Chop Dinner; anuual Immanuel Lutheran School Boys & Girls Basketball Tournament; various family fun days, including our annual trip to a Twin game or bowling at Concordia Lanes; our annual school carnival; and the Christmas, Butterbraids and Herberger’s Community Days Fundraisers.
